The University of Environment and Sustainable Development, aimed to prepare students to respond to the challenges posed by global environmental issues, is the first university of its kind in West Africa. The three types of façades (sun breakers, cladding staves and pulled mesh) have been engineered by K3, in collaboration with Contracta Costruzioni engineering team, to fit the project requirements in terms of material content, technical specifications, performance and design. K3 also fabricated and installed all safety laminted glazed windows as well as sandwich panelled internal doors in full compliance with Italian building standards as required by the project contractor.
